SalahTimeNow does not require an account for its core prayer-time service. Browser location access is optional; you can always search for a city manually.
Location and preferences
When you grant browser location permission, coordinates are used to resolve a location and calculate prayer times. Your selected location, calculation preferences and notification choices are stored locally in your browser for convenience.
Prayer notifications
Notification preferences are stored locally on your device in the external-test release. Live background prayer push delivery is not yet active, so SalahTimeNow does not currently store push subscriptions on its server.
Optional analytics
When GA4 is configured, SalahTimeNow asks before loading optional analytics. Choosing Necessary only leaves GA4 disabled in that browser. Advertising is not active in the external-test release.
Nearby mosque data
Nearby prayer-place searches use your selected coordinates to request map data. Mosque, musalla and facility details can be incomplete, so SalahTimeNow asks users to verify operational and congregation information locally.
Your choices
You can deny location access, disable browser notifications, clear SalahTimeNow site storage, or use manual location search. See Notification preferences for the current reminder controls.
